Summary:
Carlisle Medical, a fast growing privately held company celebrating 45 years of business, is seeking an IT Support Specialist for our Mobile, AL campus. Carlisle Medical offers excellent benefits and competitive pay. The IT Support Specialist acts as a computer technical expert resolving technical problems, repairing/maintaining desktops, and support/training users.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assembles software and hardware according to the design specifications.
- Troubleshoots and diagnoses problems, makes adjustments, repairs and/or performs preventative maintenance on computers, peripherals, etc.
- Maintains accurate records and logs.
- Trains users on proper use of applications.
- Prepares software documentation for future reference and maintenance needs.
- Organize and maintain IT inventory.
- Must be able to speak clearly, concisely and effectively; listen to, and understand information and ideas as presented verbally.
- Must be able to communicate information and ideas clearly, concisely in writing; read and understand information presented in writing.
- Other Skills and Abilities:
- Must be familiar with Windows Server and Windows 11.
- Must be familiar with MS Active Directory.
- Must be able to determine what is causing an operating error and determine resolution with MS Office.
Education and Experience:
Associates degree: 3 years of related experience and/or training preferred.
