Summary:

Carlisle Medical, a fast growing privately held company, is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator for our Mobile office.   Carlisle Medical offers excellent benefits and competitive pay.  The successful candidate will assist the accounting department in processing any accounts payables due for the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Processes vendor invoices (including medical supplies, maintenance contracts, utilities, freight and travel expense reports) on a weekly basis.
  • Match invoices to receipts/purchase orders.
  • Sets up invoices for payment.
  • Reconciles accounts payable transactions.
  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
  • Collect and retain supplier W-9 forms.
  • Administrative duties including answering phones, correspond with clients and respond to inquiries.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience and Education:

  • Accounting experience in A/P
  • General knowledge of accounts payable and accounting procedures
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office:  Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Self-motivated, Detail-oriented and organized.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Qualifications Preferred:

  • Experience with Great Plains a plus.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday thru Friday 7:30 a.m – 4:30 p.m.
