IT Support Specialist
Summary:
Carlisle Medical, a fast growing privately held company celebrating 45 years, is currently seeking an IT Support Specialist for our Mobile, AL campus. The successful candidate will contribute to any aspect IT support including resolving technical problems, repairing/maintaining desktops, and supporting/training users.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assembles software and hardware according to the design spcifications.
- Troubleshoots and diagnoses problems, makes adjustments, repairs and/or performs preventative maintenance on computers, peripherals, etc.
- Maintains accurate records and logs.
- Tranis users on proper use of applications.
- Prepares software documentation for future reference and maintenance needs.
- Organize and maintain IT inventory.
- Must be able to speak clearly, concisely and effectively; listen to, and understand information and ideas as presented verbally.
- Other Skills and Abilities:
- Must be familiar with Windows Server and Windows 11
- Must be familiar with MS Active Directory.
- Must be familiar with MS Office.
- Must be able to determine what is causing an operating error and determine resolution.
Education and Experience:
Associate’s degree: 3 years of related experience and/or training preferred.
