Seglentis Is Now Available

Seglentis has recently been released and contains tramadol hydrochloride, an opioid agonist, and celecoxib, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It is indicated for the management of acute pain in adults that is severe enough to require an opioid analgesic and for which alternative treatments are inadequate.

Seglentis is FDA approved and is manufactured by Kowa Pharmaceuticals America.

The recommended dose of Seglentis (Celecoxib 56mg and Tramadol Hydrochloride 44mg) is 2 tablets every 12 hours as needed for joint pain. Prescribing the two active ingredients separately (tramadol and celecoxib) may achieve better cost savings.
