Summary:

Carlisle Medical, a fast growing privately held company, is seeking a Pharmacy Customer Service Representative in our Mobile, AL office.  Carlisle Medical has been a leader in the Workers Compensation benefit management for the last 43 years.

Do you enjoy learning new things, managing multiple tasks and helping people?   Are you looking for a virtual position with a growing company?   Carlisle Medical partners with its clients to help manage injured workers fill their needed prescriptions as quickly and efficiently as possible.   The Pharmacy Customer Service Representative will be part of a team that performs this need, ensuring quality and accurate service.  This position works alternating weekends on a 4-day 10-hour weekly schedule.   Remote work from home opportunity available for weekend days.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Computer/Software skills – proficient in the use of computers, multiple software systems and learning of new programs.   Experienced in Microsoft office.   Able to handle and manage significant email and phone communications.
  • Communication skills – Active and attentive listener.   Able to ask the needed questions while adjusting to the situations in a fast-moving environment.   Active communication with supervision and other members of the pharmacy team through email and phone correspondence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepares, inputs and supports claimant profiles in pharmacy network.
  • Assists pharmacies in adjudication of claimant medications.
  • Coordination and liaison with client adjusters, pharmacies and claimants to ensure all medication benefits are assigned accurately in multiple systems.
  • Supports client need on requirements for claimant medications with reporting and data.
  • Manages and updates client and claimant information in multiple systems.
  • Able to adjust to changing processes and needs of various clients.
  • Answers questions from claimants, adjusters and pharmacies on any topic related to the claimant’s current or previous medications.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

(3) years related customer service or telephonic experience and/or training preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.   Be familiar with and serve as part of a dedicated team.

Language Skills:

Must possess excellent written grammatical skills.   Ability to read and interpret documents such as letters and reports.   Excellent understanding of proper telephone etiquette and customer service skills.   Must be exceptional in editing, grammar and spelling.
