General Information:
Title: Programmer/Analyst
Location: Mobile, Alabama
Status: Full-Time

Basic Requirements:
Experience: 5 Years
Education: Bachelor's Degree

Contributes to any aspect of the software development cycle including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing and maintenance.

Tasks and Activities
• Develops and reviews software product definition and specifications.
• Develops and maintains programming, testing and design standards and specifications.
• Gathers requirements needed for new system implementation
• Designs solutions that comply with systems architecture.
• Codes and implements reports, automated data imports, and UI Design
• Performs testing - including functional as well as user acceptance testing.
• Troubleshoots and identifies issues, problems and system bugs
• Creates end user training documentation and technical documentation
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Ability to interpret high level technical designs.
• Experience in gathering or translating business requirements.
• Intermediate to expert knowledge on software development methodologies.
• Intermediate to expert knowledge on specific programming or scripting languages. For example HTML, CSS, PHP, Javascript, Java, ASP.NET, C#.NET (Microsoft .NET Framework)
• Strong Application Design and Architecture knowledge and experience
• Experience with SQL Server
• Ability to plan and meet agreed upon delivery dates.
• SQL server reporting services is a plus

• 5 Years of programming experience is required
• Bachelor MIS / Computer Science or Equivalent Work Experience
• 2 Years of proven work experience specifically utilizing C# or Visual Basic
• 2 Years of proven software development utilizing SQL Server 2005(Stored Procedures, Scheduling SQL Jobs, & Database Design)
